Fatexpro AG is a supplier of green coffee from Brazil.
We source green coffee from Brazil directly from farmers and large cooperatives. Our main partner is Procafe.
We supply green coffee mainly from the following regions:
SANTOS
Santos is the most traditional Brazilian coffee, which is grown at elevations from 600 to 1,200 meters mainly in Minas Gerais or in the State of Sao Paulo, is a market name referring to the port through which these coffees are traditionally shipped. Santos has been dried inside the fruit (dry/natural processed) and some of the sweetness of the fruit carries into the cup. Flavor and aroma: sweet, honey notes; low acidity, chocolate aftertaste; ripe hazelnut aroma
MOGIANA
The Alta Mogiana region, situated in the northeastern part of São Paulo state with an elevation ranging from 900 to 1,200 meters above sea level provides an ideal setting for the nuanced development of flavors and the natural sweetness inherent in coffee beans. Flavor and aroma: rich taste with notes of fruits, nuts and chocolate; light acidity, chocolate and caramel aftertaste
SUL DE MINAS
Renowned for its exceptional cupping coffee, the Sul de Minas region in Brazil owes its fame to a mild climate, steady rainfall, and an ideal geographical setting. Moreover, a noteworthy aspect of this region is that over half of its farms are characterized as small to medium-sized, with some families dedicated to farming for multiple generations. Flavor and aroma: rich sweetness with notes of cocoa, almonds and milk chocolate
CERRADO MINEIRO
Cerrado Mineiro, situated in the western part of Minas Gerais, is a high-plain savanna known for its extensive, dry harvest season - an optimal environment for cultivating naturally processed coffees that boast a delightful full-bodied flavor profile. Flavor and aroma: balanced taste with bright notes of cocoa, nuts and caramel; citrus sourness and high acidity; nutty milk chocolate aroma
RIO MINAS
Rio Minas is one of the most famous types of Arabica from region Minas Gerais and is the type of coffee characterized with strong taste.
Flavor and aroma: unique tart taste and iodine aroma; chocolate and nutty notes with a clean finish.
CONILON
Conilon is another species with very similar properties to Robusta. The most important production regions are the state of Espirito Santo (78%), Rondonia (13%) and Bahia (7%). This coffee with a higher percentage of caffeine, which was once very stereotyped, is now gaining more acceptance as it has a quality that is on par with Arabica.
